Château de Chillon is located on the eastern shore of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) about 30 minutes south of the city of Lausanne. I recommend you get there early in the morning. We got there around 9AM and there were plenty of free parking spots on the street across the castle past the restaurants. However on our way out around 10:00AM, both the street parking area and the castle parking lot was completely full.
