The maiden's tower is a medieval tower located near the Asian shore of the Bosporus strait in Istanbul. Salacak Sahili is one of my favorite photography spots and a great place to watch the sunset in Istanbul. It is easily accessible from the European side by either taking a ferry or the underground metro line Marmaray to Üsküdar (Ayrılık Çeşmesi direction). Once you get off the ferry or the metro just walk the coast line south (or left as you face the water) for about a kilometer or so. While in Salack, you can take a ferry to visit the tower itself as well.
