I am hoping to post some of our adventures from a planned bicycle trip that is coming up this summer. The plan is to cycle from Frankfurt via the Alps, Italy, the Adriatic Coast and through Greece finally ending the journey in Istanbul. I will not only post my daily encounters but unavoidably include some route and gear information in the hopes that some of you fellow adventurers --whether you are roughing it on a bicycle saddle or sitting comfortably on an arm chair-- will find handy.
